What is worse for a defender of justice than to find oneself charged and tried for murder and condemned to be executed on the chair? Yet, this is what happens to David Rolfe, a brilliant young lawyer, who has hitherto managed to rid the Big Apple of most of its scum of mobsters and racketeers.
